How to tune Pegasus Mail Agent for KOI8-R

Pegasus have wrong charset name in <pegasus_dir>\resource\wpm-lmtt.r file: nonexistent KOI-8R instead of KOI8-R, you need to change this name into _mime_csets list (almost last line in the file), recompile this resource and place it into in the same directory where winpm*.exe resides.

Pegasus can't enter Russian subject, it uses wrong ISO-8859-1 font for it.

Send your complaints to Pegasus support team.

For those of you who don't understand the section above: download this already compiled Pegasus 32bit resource wpm-lmtt.rsc (use Save Link As not just a click) and place it in the same directory where winpm-32.exe resides. I don't test it with Pegasus 16bit, it may work or not.

Into the Options|Advanced settings box you need

• Set MIME character set to KOI8-R
• Set Allow 8-bit MIME message encoding

Into the Options|Message editor settings

• Set Use MIME features to On

You don't need to set KOI8-R fonts in Pegasus, because Pegasus use standard Windows CP1251 fonts with decode table.
