The campaign of the Tarski voivode á. Voeikov against siberian Khan Kuchum

The 4th of Semtember 1598. - From the report of Tarski voivode A. Voeikov to Tsar Boris Godunov aboutthe doom of siberian Khan Kuchum on the bank of the Ob, on the Irmen

The 1st of August - In Tara the Tsar deed was got with the edict to "go with the campaign against Kuchum"

The 4th of August - the service troop, containing of "Lithuanians", Cossacks and Tatars, who went over to the Russian Tsar (405 men) took the field.

The 10th of August - Voeikov's troop reached the Om. In the villages Lubaiskaja and Turashskaja the inhabitans were taken prisoners, who told that Kuchum and his 500 men wandered on the "black rivers" (the present-day river Karasuk in the south of Novosibirsk).

The 15th of August - the troop reached Ub Lake (present-daUbinskoje Lake). Here new prisoners told that Kuchum went from the "black riverrs" to the Ob with his relatives and his men.

The 20th of August - Voeikov's troop found Kuchum near the Ob, on the Irmen.
The battle in the mouth of the Irmen lasted from the whole day and ended with the complite defeat of Kuchum. Khan himself ran away across the Ob.

The 27th of August - á. Voeikov with all prisoners went back to Tara. The historical acts are collected and published by the Archaeographical Commission 1841. V. 2: 1598-1613. p. 1-4.
